Zombie Dirt Cake Cups Recipe
Are you looking for a creepy dessert for Halloween or to enjoy while watching a zombie show? Zombie Dirt Cake Cups would be the perfect no bake dessert for it.
While I was shopping last week, I came across some neat Halloween edible decorations. I found little tombstones with bones, which I used to make my Graveyard Dirt Cake Cups. I also found zombie gummy lollipops by the baking and candy aisles. I thought the zombie hand lollipops would look great coming out of a dirt cake. If you haven’t heard of dirt cake, it is a pudding mixture layered with crushed cookies served in a large bowl. I usually serve it in little cups for individual servings and it also makes it easy to carry around at a party. These Zombie Dirt Cake Cups are a quick, no bake dessert that are perfect for a Halloween party or as a fun treat for kids.
- 2 (3.9 oz) packages of instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
- 3½ cups milk
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz. container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 lb. 3 oz. family sized box of chocolate cream-filled cookies
- Edible gummy zombie hands
- In a bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk for 5 minutes until soft set. Stir in the Cool Whip.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese. Mix in the pudding mixture.
- Chop cookies finely in a blender or food processor until they resemble dirt.
- In serving cups, layer cookie crumbs and pudding mixture.
- Store in refrigerator. Decorate with zombie hands when ready to serve.

While I was shopping, I browsed through the Halloween section and saw some neat edible decorations. I found little tombstones with bones that were meant to decorate cupcakes or cakes. As soon as I saw them, I knew they would go great on top of dirt cake. If you haven’t heard of dirt cake, it is a pudding mixture layered with crushed cookies served in a bowl or in cups. To go along with the graveyard theme, I used chocolate pudding and crushed chocolate cream-filled cookies to represent dirt. Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Recipe
Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Sauerkraut is perfect dinner for Fall. This German dish only contains five ingredients and is ready in a few hours.
Fall is my favorite season. The weather is perfect and the scenery is beautiful. I also enjoy all the autumn activities and events. One October festival I would love to visit is the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. It’s a world famous autumn festival that features beer-drinking and merrymaking. The festival seems like it would be fun and I would love to visit the country where my ancestors lived. My family has lived in the middle of Pennsylvania Dutch country for a few generations now. But we still honor some of the German traditions like eating pork and sauerkraut for good luck on New Years. Since Oktoberfest is happening right now, I decided to celebrate by making Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Sauerkraut….

No Bake Granola Bites Recipe
No Bake Granola Bites are a quick and easy snack that everyone will enjoy. They only take 5 minutes to make with five ingredients.
Everyone in my family loves peanut butter. I usually end up buying both crunchy and creamy peanut butter to suit our tastes. I can eat either kind, but I think my daughter leans more towards the creamy. My husband prefers crunchy on his PB&J, which isn’t the easiest to spread on bread. Besides making sandwiches, I also like to use peanut butter in recipes. One recipe we have been enjoying lately are my No Bake Granola Bites….
