Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Melt butter in a large saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar and applesauce. Allow to cool slightly. Then mix in eggs and vanilla.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir the flour mixture and chopped apples into the brown sugar mixture, mixing just until combined.
Spread the batter into the baking pan. Sprinkle the Candy Apple M&Ms on top.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Apple Caramel Sauce
Cook apple juice in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, until reduced to ⅛ cup (around 10 minutes). Stir in white sugar, butter and whipping cream. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Pour cooled sauce onto cooled blondies.
