Turkey and Stuffing Waffles Recipe

Bring your holiday leftovers new life by making them into Turkey and Stuffing Waffles. The are made of stuffing and are topped with turkey and gravy.

We always have a bunch of leftovers from holiday dinners but eating the leftovers can get boring. I have teamed up with #CollectiveBias to give a new spin on leftovers for Kraft #TasteTheSeason. I decided to use our turkey and gravy leftovers to make Turkey and Stuffing Waffles.

I needed more stuffing since my husband already ate most of it. I had to run to Walmart to pick up more Stove Top stuffing. If you are looking for more inspiration, check out Walmart’s Cooking Up Good website. Stove Top stuffing is so easy to make. In a pot, just bring the water and butter to a boil. Then mix in the Stove Top, cover and remove from heat.

After five minutes, fluff it with a fork and it’s done. I mixed a half cup of gravy into my prepared Stove Top stuffing so it would stick together a little more for the waffles.

I have a Cuisinart 5-in-1 Griddler with Waffle Plates that I use often to make homemade waffles. I made the stuffing waffles basically the same way, except for more filling and a longer cooking time. I sprayed the waffle plates with non-stick spray and preheated the griddler to 400 F. I spooned the stuffing mixture so it overfilled each waffle insert. I had enough stuffing to fill three of my waffle inserts. I cooked the waffles for 5 minutes.

I placed each waffle onto a plate. Then topped with turkey pieces and drizzled it with gravy. We ate them up and it didn’t even feel like we were eating leftovers. The Turkey and Stuffing Waffles are a yummy way to bring new life to holiday leftovers plus save you money by stretching your leftovers.
