Rainbow Fruit Salad is a colorful, healthy snack that is great for picnics.
We love fruit in our household. I usually buy a different kind of fruit each week to snack on. Recently, I went to a discount grocery store and saw they had some great deals on fruit. I ending up buying strawberries, oranges, pineapple, kiwis, blueberries and grapes. Each fruit represented a color in the rainbow so I decided to cut it up to make a fresh fruit salad.
The important part before eating or cutting the fruit is to wash it very good. I use an organic fruit/ vegetable spray to clean my fruit. Once cleaned, I chopped up all the fruit except for the blueberries on a cutting board. Then I added all the fruit into a bowl and mixed it together. I keep the bowl in a container in the fridge so we can grab it and enjoy anytime.
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup oranges, chopped
- 1 cup pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup kiwis, chopped
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- In a bowl, mix the strawberries, oranges, pineapples, kiwis, blueberries and grapes together.
- Chill and Enjoy!

Summer in a bowl! This looks delish and refreshing….and better yet, a kid favorite! Gotta love when the little ones will eat fresh fruits or veggies and this is so eye-appealing with all the colors. Can’t wait to make up a big bowl and see how fast it disappears. 🙂

I love when food looks as beautiful as it tastes 🙂 I wish I could get my kid to eat all this fresh fruit, the only way I can do it is to freeze it and put it in a smoothie.
