Beer Cheese Dip is the ultimate appetizer to serve at a football party. The hot dip is made in the slow cooker and it only contains 3 ingredients.
The big game is this weekend! It’s time to start planning what to eat and drink at your football party. If you are looking for food that beer drinking men will love, then make my Beer Cheese Dip. It takes less than two minutes to prepare and then you just turn the slow cooker on. Plus it only contains three ingredients! How much easier can it get?
First thing, you need to do is head to Walmart to pick up the ingredients: cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and dipping food (french fries!). You can also pick up your beer at Walmart if they carry it. I live in PA so unfortunately we can only buy alcohol at the state store or beer distributor.
While I was at Walmart, I bought Alexia crinkle cut fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. We love making burgers on the grill so we can never have too many fry options. I decided to use the Alexia crinkle cut fries and onion rings as dippers for my Beer Cheese Dip.
Making Beer Cheese Dip is ridiculously easy to make. You just need to get out your crockpot and place the three ingredients inside. Then let it cook on low for two hours while stirring occasionally and it’s done! If you are planning on eating it immediately, you can scoop some out to serve in a dip platter dish. But if you are using it for a party, it would be best if it was left in the crockpot to keep warm. The Beer Cheese Dip is great served with french fries, onion rings, pretzels, chips and really any dipping food. Anyone who enjoys beer will love the Beer Cheese Dip.
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 4 cups shredded triple cheddar cheese mix
- 1 cup light beer
- In a slow cooker, add cream cheese, cheddar cheese and beer.
- Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Enjoy!
I shared what I am making for our football party. What are you planning on making for the Super Bowl?
