Classic Guacamole is delicious anytime as an appetizer, dip, snack or topping. You can easily make it at home with only five ingredients.
Guacamole is a huge hit in my household. My family can easily eat an entire bowl in less than a day. I like to change it up by making different varieties like Southwestern Guacamole and Guacamole with tomatoes and garlic. But my Classic Guacamole is still one of my family’s favorites. The guacamole is easy to make with only five ingredients: avocados, lime, salt, red onion and cilantro. Classic Guacamole is delicious as an appetizer, dip, snack, and topping.
- 4 avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1 lime, juiced
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ cup red onion
- 2 Tbs. cilantro
- In a bowl, add avocados, lime juice and salt. Mash together with a fork. Mix in onion and cilantro.
- Refrigerate until ready to eat.
