Pumpkin Spice Spritz Cookies are delicious crisp butter cookies that are perfect for Autumn.
It’s September which means pumpkin spice food and drinks are beginning. I teamed up with OXO to support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer by creating Pumpkin Spice Spritz Cookies. If you do not know what spritz cookies are, they are crisp butter cookies that are formed with a cookie press. If you love pumpkin spice and enjoy crisp lightly sweetened cookies, then you will enjoy Pumpkin Spice Spritz Cookies.
To make Pumpkin Spice Spritz Cookies, you will need an OXO Cookie Press and Autumn Disk Set. After the dough is made, you need to place the dough into the cookie press with the pumpkin disk. Squeeze the dough onto a non-stick cookie sheet. Then decorate the pumpkin shapes with orange and green sugar crystals. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven. After baking, remove the cookies from the sheet and place them onto a wire rack using a cookie spatula. Pumpkin Spice Spritz Cookies are perfect for Autumn, Halloween or Thanksgiving.
You can join the Cookies for Kids’ Cancer 4th Annual 50 State Challenge in support of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The goal is to inspire Cookies for Kids’ Cancer events to take place in all 50 states to promote childhood cancer awareness and raise funds to help develop new and less toxic pediatric cancer treatments. You can help by hosting a neighborhood bake sale, running a race, or throwing a school fundraiser. You can join in the challenge by registering your event online. If you mark that you were inspired by OXO when you register, OXO will match proceeds from your event up to their annual commitment of $100,000.
