French Toast Sticks

  • 12 slices Texas Toast bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1¼ cup milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  1. Cut each slice of bread into 3 pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  3. Dip a bread stick into the egg mixture until coated. Repeat process with remaining slices.
  4. In a skillet or griddle, melt one tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Place dipped bread sticks onto griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden bread.
