Music for Kids with Kidz Bop & Spotify

If you’ve listened to any of today’s music for any length of time, you know that finding music for kids isn’t easy. I don’t know about you, but I’m not keen on my kids listening to songs about adult “activities”. That’s why I’m using Spotify to make my own playlists of music for kids, including Kidz Bop.

Kidz Bop and Spotify – Making Music For Kids

I want my kids to listen to music that’s appropriate for their age. Even if they don’t know exactly what some of the references of many of today’s songs mean, I still don’t want them learning those terms and phrases. That’s where Kidz Bop and Spotify come in.

Spotify

Spotify is an easy to use tool for families to listen to all of their favorite songs and create playlists for listening at home, in the car, or anywhere the mood strikes. Spotify is easy to use and navigate, and it’s free! Of course there’s an option for a premium membership, but you can listen to music whenever you like for free, as well.

Kidz Bop

Kidz Bop has been bringing us great music for kids for years. They pick all of the kid-friendly songs playing on the radio and bring them to us with kids singing them. Every CD is a pop music sing along. It’s fun for the whole family, and there are no references to sex, body parts, or anything else that I don’t want my kids listening to.

Spotify AND Kidz Bop

Finding music for kids is simpler than ever, now that I have Spotify. I was able to quickly and easily create a Spotify account and immediately begin making my kid-friendly playlist. That was easy as pie, because Spotify has a Kidz Bop section, which means it was super fast and super simple to construct a play list of kid-friendly music in no time.

Kidz Bop just released their latest CD, Kidz Bop 29, and I found some great songs from the album. It features hits like “Sugar”, “GDFR”, and “I want You to Know”. I was pleased with the number of great songs on this latest offering, and some of them made it on to my playlist immediately.

Here’s the playlist I picked:

Music for Kids is Fun for All

Kidz Bop and Spotify have made finding family friendly music a breeze, and I love that. I cringe every time I blast past a song on the radio that will potentially have my kids asking me some SUPER uncomfortable questions. I know I’ll have to address them one day, just not yet!

If you have kids, I highly encourage you to give Spotify a try. With Spotify and Kidz Bop, you’ll be able to craft playlists full of music for kids that you can feel good about.

If you want to see some great live music, Kidz Bop is on tour this summer with their “Make Some Noise” tour. So hit Spotify, make a great playlist of music for kids, and maybe see a live Kidz Bop show!
