Frozen Watermelon Lemonade is a great refreshing summertime drink.
We love eating watermelon in the summertime. I usually cut up it up and store it in a plastic container in the fridge. But most of the time all of it doesn’t fit plus it ends up sitting in its juice. I was glad when I received a Good Cook 3-piece Fruit Bowl which includes a bowl, colander and lid. This product is exclusively available at Bed Bath and Beyond. The fruit bowl was large enough to fit the whole watermelon I bought. I really liked that the fruit sits in the colander and the juice drains into the bowl. The fruit isn’t sitting in its juice so it lasts longer. We ate most of the watermelon but we still had some leftover. I wanted to use it up and decided to make Frozen Watermelon Lemonade.
Frozen Watermelon Lemonade is simple to make. I put my leftover watermelon pieces in the freezer. Once they were frozen, I took them out and juiced two lemons. I put the watermelon, lemon juice, water and sugar into the blender. I blended it together and poured it into a glass to enjoy. Frozen Watermelon Lemonade is a great refreshing summertime drink.
- 2 cups watermelon pieces, frozen
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 Tbs. sugar, or to taste
- Blend frozen watermelon, water, lemon juice and sugar in a blender.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
