Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I always look forward to spending time with family and watching the kids hunt for eggs. As you may already know, I recently made a Doc McStuffins Easter Basket for my toddler. Well, she found the basket and I ended up just letting her have it. Really, it just gave me an excuse to make another one 🙂 Of course, I had to do a different theme so I decided to make a Minnie Mouse Easter Basket.
My daughter has an adorable egg hunting basket. The basket is white with pink accents so I thought it would be great for Minnie Mouse items. I also already had green recycled paper grass for filling. I just needed to go to the store to find some Minnie Mouse items.
My husband watched our daughter while I went basket filler shopping. So of course, I took my leisurely time walking around to the different departments to find items that did not contain candy. I ended up finding some cute Minnie Mouse themed items throughout the store. I found a color wonder coloring pad, grab & go play pack for coloring, look and find book, toothbrush covers, toothpaste, nail polish & lip gloss, lip balm and socks. I was thrilled that I was able to find a book, coloring books and some practical items. I put all the items in the basket and it came out adorable. I can’t wait until my daughter sees her Minnie Mouse basket on Easter.
