Planning a party is always a fun thing to do. It’s a good excuse to have everyone get together and have a good time. I recently received a Disney Side Home Celebration kit full of party supplies. After looking through all the goodies, I decided to host a Sofia the First party.
To set up for the party, I covered the tables with pink princess tablecloths. Then I had Sofia the First centerpieces and princess confetti spread out on the table. For each place setting, I had a Sofia the First placemat, plate, napkin, and a princess cup.
To keep the party simple, I decided to serve just desserts. I was fortunate enough to have a Zazzle gift card and I ended up using it to buy the desserts. I ordered princess themed cookies, cake pops and chocolate covered oreos. To go along with the party theme, I also decided to make Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods to represent princess wands.
Of course, I had to have some fun party activities too. The little princesses received their own Sofia the First crown and wand. To complete their looks, I had a ribbon barrette maker, lip gloss/ chapstick and nail polish. Then for their artistic side, I had coloring books and stickers. Everyone had a great time and loved the Sofia the First party theme.
