Chili Dogs Recipe

Chili Dogs are a delicious lunch or dinner to enjoy anytime. Besides being quick and easy to make, everyone in the family will love them especially the kids.

As soon as the weather warmed up, my husband started grilling. We use our grill all the time over the Spring and Summer. It is so easy and fast to make dinner. We love to grill everything: steaks, burgers, hot dogs, sausages, chicken, corn, etc. One of the easiest meals we make are Chili Dogs.

My husband and I differ on our condiment preferences. I like to use ketchup and my husband likes to use mustard. But for Chili Dogs, mustard is a must-have topping for both of us. I recently learned that the New Heinz® Yellow Mustard was launched at Walmart in February, but it is now also available at the other major retailers. I love their ketchup so I had to run to Walmart to pick up a bottle of Heinz Yellow Mustard.

The New Heinz® Yellow Mustard was located right by the ketchup in the condiment aisle. They had squeeze bottles available in 8, 14 and 20 ounce sizes. Of course, Heinz Yellow Mustard didn’t disappoint. It has a great taste and it tastes just like mustard should. The secret blend of spices and vinegar gives the perfect balance of flavor and tang. I also loved that the bottle’s top is on the bottom. No shaking is needed to avoid the watered down squirt like other brands.

Chili Dogs are especially great on busy weeknights since they are so easy and quick to make. But they are delicious for lunch or dinner anytime. Chili Dogs only take around 10 minutes to make. You just need to fire up the grill and cook the the hot dogs. While the hot dogs are cooking, you can be heating up the chili on the stove or in the microwave. Once the hot dogs are done cooking, place them in hot dog rolls. Then top with chili and deliciously thick Heinz Yellow Mustard. Everyone will devour the Chili Dogs as soon as they are on the table.
