Looking for a slow cooker appetizer? Make your family or party guests Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip.
The holiday season is always a busy time of the year. It doesn’t seem like there is enough time in the day to get everything done. On top of the normal day-to-day tasks, we need to go gift shopping, travel to see family and attend holiday events and parties. Some evenings, there just isn’t enough time to spend an hour or more in the kitchen prepping and making dinner for family or guests. On those days, slow cooker dishes and frozen meals are the go-to options. One of my family’s and friends’ favorite slow cooker appetizers is my Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip.
To get ready for a busy week, I went to Walmart to pick up ingredients to make Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip. I also picked up Red Baron® Pepperoni French Bread Pizza Singles, which go perfectly with the dip. The pizza singles are also great for entertaining. Instead of having to buy several large pizzas to suit each person’s taste, the host can buy two-packs or six-packs of Red Baron® French Bread Pizza Singles in pepperoni, 3-meat, supreme or 5 cheese & garlic. The host will be happy that they can cater to their guests’ preferences and that they don’t have to make a mess cutting large pizzas. The guests will also love having their own personal pizza with their favorite toppings.
To go along with the convenience of Red Baron® French Bread Pizza Singles, Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip is a quick and easy appetizer to prepare. The dip only contains four ingredients: chicken, cream cheese, ranch and buffalo sauce. I always use a rotisserie chicken to make it even easier. When I am ready to make the dip, I just need to grab the chicken out of the fridge and pick off the meat. I personally only like white meat so that’s what I pick off and shred.
In the slow cooker, I add the shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce. Then mix it together and set the slow cooker on low. After two hours, the dip will be hot and ready to eat.
When the dip is almost done, I put the Red Baron® French Bread Pizza Singles in the oven for a little over 20 minutes. Or if we’re really hungry, I can put the pizza in the microwave for a minute or two and then put it in the oven for 7 minutes. Once done, everyone can grab their own pizza single to enjoy with a side of dip and chips. Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip and Red Baron® French Bread Pizza Singles makes holiday entertaining and feeding the family easy.
