Green smoothies are delicious and healthy. I frequently have overripe bananas sitting on my counter. I occasionally freeze them to use in smoothies but I wanted to make something different. I decided to make Chocolate Chip Green Smoothie Muffins. The muffins contain the same main ingredients as in a green smoothie: spinach, banana and Greek yogurt. Chocolate Chip Green Smoothie Muffins are a great way to add some fruit and vegetables to your morning breakfast or snack.

I have never seen muffins with spinach in them. I am curious to see how these taste. This is a great way to eat more greens. 🙂
