Mint Chocolate Chip Green Smoothie is a great way to indulge your sweet tooth without feeling guilty. This easy smoothie only contains five ingredients.
In the last year, I have been on a “smoothie kick” as my husband likes to call it. I have bought a couple different types of blenders and all kinds of smoothie ingredients. If I am feeling hungry, I make a smoothie instead of snacking on junk food. Our fridge is also always stocked with yogurt for a quick snack. My toddler is in love with yogurt! She usually eats at least two containers a day. We always have different varieties of yogurt in our fridge since we like to try different kinds. I recently enjoyed the new Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurts and I decided to incorporate it into a Mint Chocolate Chip Green Smoothie recipe.
I found Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt at my local Walmart. It was located in the yogurt section right beside the children yogurts. My store only had the Mint Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Bean yogurts in stock. The Raspberry Chocolate Chip was sold out, which I take as a sign that it tastes pretty good. Each 5.3 oz Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt contains 7 grams of protein and less sugar than some other yogurts.
I was excited to try the mint chocolate chip flavor. I love mint chocolate chip ice cream but we all know how bad ice cream is for us. I am glad I can now replace that craving with mint chocolate chip yogurt instead. If I am also having the urge to snack on sweets at nighttime, I can just sit down and enjoy a yogurt.
Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt is just the right amount of wrong. Whether it is a little indulgence to start your morning or a break in the afternoon – go ahead and indulge because you deserve it!
If you are interested in trying Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurts, they are having demos at select Walmarts between March 12-15. If you love Müller®, you can visit www.Mullerquaker.com to sign up for their mailing list and receive the latest news and offers. As a thank you, you’ll also get a coupon to use toward your next purchase. Müller® is also hosting a Twitter party on March 11 from 1-2pm. Participants can win one of 5 $100 Walmart Gift Cards or one of two $200 Gift Baskets.
Making smoothies is a great way to enjoy a nutritious snack and also a way to eat your daily servings of fruits & vegetables. My Mint Chocolate Chip Green Smoothie only contains five ingredients: Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt, frozen bananas, spinach, chocolate chips and peppermint extract. The only thing you have to do is throw all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. It’s really that easy. My Mint Chocolate Chip Green Smoothie is a great way to indulge your sweet tooth without feeling guilty.
- 1 container Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt
- 2 frozen bananas, sliced
- 1 Tbs. mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup spinach
- ¼ tsp. peppermint extract, or to taste
- In a blender, add yogurt, bananas, chocolate chips, spinach and peppermint extract. Cover and blend until smooth.
