My family loves garlic bread. It is a must when we eat spaghetti or any other pasta dish. I usually keep frozen garlic bread in the freezer, but that started getting boring. I wanted to make something different so I started browsing Pinterest. I came across a pin of a scratch-made pull apart garlic bread made in a loaf pan. The picture looked delicious, but I did not want to make bread from scratch. The bread reminded me of monkey bread which gave me an idea. Monkey bread is usually made to be a sweet dessert, but it could easily be made into garlic bread. You just need to tear the refrigerated biscuits apart and roll the pieces into balls. Toss the balls into a mixture of butter, garlic and Italian seasoning. Then arrange the balls in a pan and bake it in the oven. It’s so simple to make and it’s even fun to eat. Garlic Monkey Bread is an easy and delicious way to enjoy garlic bread….

Hot Cocoa Mix Recipe
If you live on the East Coast, it’s the perfect weekend to be enjoying a cup of hot cocoa. The blizzard is here and it’s freezing cold outside. I’m hoping to stay inside as much as possible but my child has other plans. But I’m going to try to get my husband to be the one who’s mostly going outside and playing in the snow with her. When I say snow, I mean 32 inches of snow! Of course, each time everyone comes back inside, they need a cup of hot cocoa. I already have a batch of homemade Hot Cocoa Mix ready to go for this weekend. Homemade hot cocoa is the best and it’s easy to make. Once you try homemade hot cocoa, you will never want to buy store bought packets again….

Valentine’s Day Oreo Cookie Hearts Recipe
Valentine’s Day is only a month away! I always like to celebrate it by making fun treats for my family. One treat I am making this year are my Oreo Cookie Hearts. They are just like Oreo cookie balls, but the hearts are a lot easier to make. I do not like to dip balls in melted chocolate or wafers. It is usually time-confusing and frustrating. After my last dipping experience, I decided it was best and quicker just to use molds when possible. Molds are simple to use and they are available in pretty designs. You just need to coat the inside of the shape with melted wafers and allow it to harden for a short time. Then add the filling to the mold and top it with melted wafers. After it hardens, you remove the treats from the mold and you are done. Using a silicone heart mold was so much easier than trying to dip and decorate balls. If you are looking for an easy Valentine’s Day treat to make your family, then you need to make Oreo Cookie Hearts….

On top of the normal day-to-day tasks, we need to go gift shopping, travel to see family and attend holiday events and parties. Some evenings, there just isn’t enough time to spend an hour or more in the kitchen prepping and making dinner for family or guests. On those days, slow cooker dishes and frozen meals are the go-to options. One of my family’s and friends’ favorite slow cooker appetizers is my Buffalo Chicken Dip….
