I’m so excited it’s almost fall! I love the cooler weather and all the awesome fall foods. In honor of the change of season, I have teamed up with #FlavorofFall M&M’s and #CollectiveBias. One of M&M’s new fall flavors is candy apple, which is available exclusively at Walmart stores. I wanted to make a fall recipe with the candy apple M&M’s. I also wanted to incorporate Mott’s applesauce and apple juice into the recipe too. If you have been following my blog for awhile, you already know that I like to use applesauce when baking. It makes it a little moister and healthier since it replaces some of the vegetable oil or butter in the recipe. I ended up deciding to make Caramel Apple M&M Blondies with a caramel sauce drizzle….

My poor toddler is sick this week 🙁 I took her to her first toddler playtime class and unfortunately she ended up picking up germs. Apparently, my hand sanitizing as soon as we got to the car was already too late to help. It has been a rough couple days especially since she hardly ever gets sick. I didn’t have any cold medicine so I went online to the natural brand I like to see if they had anything locally I could pick up. But unfortunately my toddler is too young for their cold medicine and their cold lollipops are only sold online.
I already knew that honey is really good for colds and coughing so I decided to make my own lollipops. …

Lemon Blueberry Muffins are a delicious twist on classic blueberry muffins. They are filled with fresh blueberries with the hint of lemon. The use of lemon zest and juice in the batter makes it a refreshing breakfast treat.
Lemon Blueberry Muffins

Serves: 14 muffins
Ingredients
- 1½ cups flour
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 lemon, zested
- 1½ cup fresh blueberries
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup milk
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 1 egg
- Raw turbinado sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Line muffins tins with liners.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and lemon zest. Add blueberries to mixture.
- In a medium sized measuring cup, add vegetable oil, milk, lemon juice and an egg. Pour into the flour mixture. Mix until moistened.
- Fill each muffin cup ⅔ full. Sprinkle muffin tops with raw sugar.
- Bake muffins for 20 minutes or until done.
