We love eating watermelon in the summertime. I usually cut up it up and store it in a plastic container in the fridge. But most of the time all of it doesn’t fit plus it ends up sitting in its juice. I was glad when I received a Good Cook 3-piece Fruit Bowl which includes a bowl, colander and lid. This product is exclusively available at Bed Bath and Beyond. The fruit bowl was large enough to fit the whole watermelon I bought. I really liked that the fruit sits in the colander and the juice drains into the bowl. The fruit isn’t sitting in its juice so it lasts longer. We ate most of the watermelon but we still had some leftover. I wanted to use it up and decided to make Frozen Watermelon Lemonade….

I first thought about making popcorn, rice crispy treats, milkshakes and other boring normal things. But when I think Father’s Day, I think “manly” food and what is more manly than bacon.
